Circle of Flowers for an American Indian Wedding
Saturday’s bride was married at an outdoor setting in Central City. Since it was a natural setting, the bride wanted a bouquet that had a natural look.
The bride was marrying an American Indian. They followed an Indian tradition of being married within a circle of flowers. The circle had a circumference of about 50’ and it was important that the flowers touched, that there were no open spaces.
The flowers included delphinium, baby’s breath, liatris, pompons, solidago, limonium, buplurum, and astilbe.
